That was both intense & amazing to watch. I was just waiting for him to get plucked with a headshot. But it never happened. That dude clearly had nothing to lose lol

Dramatic footage coming out of Yemen shows a Houthi rebel carrying his wounded comrade over 1 k
Dramatic footage coming out of Yemen shows a Houthi rebel carrying his wounded comrade over 1 kilometer of open terrain while being shot at. Even though multiple impacts are hitting right at his feet, he never stops moving, and never looks to even consider dropping his severely wounded friend. If we put the politics, the who, what, when, where, and why of the on-going conflict aside and watch this video objectively, we are witnessing a true act of heroism caught on film.

What we’re looking at in this video, regardless of the reason behind the current conflict, is a true act of heroism that was captured on video in the middle of a raging battle between two opposing forces. War is, and always will be one of the most devastating and ugly things that mankind is capable of. Even during our most terrible moments as species though, we sometimes get to see a bit of light shining through into the world.

Heroism, as defined by Merriam Webster, is heroic conduct especially as exhibited in fulfilling a high purpose or attaining a noble end. In the footage below, that is exactly what we are seeing. A gun battle is raging around these men, and in between these two groups. In the middle of all of that, someone was injured in open ground. Instead of abandoning his friend, and maneuvering himself into a position of cover, this man stopped what he was doing and ran back to his friend. He then hoisted him up onto his shoulder, and ran for everything he was worth, with everything he had, to get him to safety. Meanwhile, the men on the other side of the battle never for a second ceased their. During this chaos, the man with his injured comrade on his back shouldered on, and just kept moving. He never once dropped his friend to save himself.

If you have never done this in NO WAY is it easy. NO Weapons! This man was on a mission few can say they have completed flawlessly. Bravo to these to men. Friends for life. ❤
