How do you have a policy against saving a life. Wow, this "nurse" sounds like a douchebag.
I've never heard of anything so retarded. This reeks of some kind of insurance scam.
I would have killed colleen.
If you are going to have a policy like this then there should be a policy to not even call 911. "House on fire, fuck you", "Someone fell down the stairs, fuck you", "Someone is drowning in the bathtub, fuck you". Extremely stupid policy created to protect stupid morons suing and judges backing lawsuits up like that.
What the... how can you even legally have a policy like that. Registered nurses are required by law to provide assistance to unwell people. You also don't have to be a nurse to give CPR, anyone can give it, you don't need to be qualified.
There wasn’t a DNR on file for her. What policy was she violating by giving her CPR? Genuine question.
So sad. She was supposed to be there to help people not watch them die.
A nurse in the U.K. would be struck off the register never to nurse again if she did that. As a qualified nurse for twenty years I cannot comprehend the nurses thinking. Fuck policy nurses save lives and do no harm. She did harm by not doing anything. Abhorrent
Your job, or saving a human life...??.......erm.....??
fun stuff starts at 1:26
Wtf? As a former health care provider I would have done it anyway...that's just me. Fire me...fuck it! Sounds selfish but I could not live with the guilt of letting someone die when I could have done something to help them you can't pay me enough to deal with that kind of emotional trauma . I'll find another job.
I would sacrifice my whole career and years of study to save that woman if I was in that situation
