    Here, there and everywhere!
Odd animals washed up on the beach...

Dinosaur-Like Turtle – Some people believe this photo has been manipulated with, but believe us — it’s the real deal. After many studies, biologists discovered that this dinosaur-like turtle was actually the so-called alligator snapping turtle, which is apparently the heaviest freshwater turtle on our planet. This theory may be true, but wouldn’t it be cool if the turtle’s actually from the age of dinosaurs.
Montauk Monster – This crazy-looking creature definitely deserves a spot on this list. It appeared on a beach in New York in 2008, and ever since then it has been the subject of controversy. Several zoologists came up with the theory that this animal was actually a decomposing raccoon, but since none of them were on the beach the day it washed up, it couldn’t be confirmed. Only several people have seen this creature in person and one of them managed to snap a photo, but then a weird thing happened. Someone carted it off and nobody knows what happened to it...

Megamouth Shark – When people from the provinces of Albay and Masbate in the Philippines found the lifeless body of this humongous creature washed up on the nearby beach, they were pretty certain it is some sort of a smaller whale, because no one has seen one of these animals before. However, as it turned out, this creature was actually a male megamouth shark, an extremely rare species of deepwater shark that a very small number of people have actually seen in person...

Alien Fish – The resident of Santos, Brazil thought this weird creature was a Long Nose Batfish, and although they share certain similar features, this creature looks way more bizarre. There are a lot of theories as to what this animal actually is, but as of today no one has a definite answer. This creature is a proof that despite all our knowledge, there are still many crazy animals on our planet that we know nothing about...

St. Augustine Monster – This is one of the oldest mysterious sea creatures people have stumbled upon on the beach. Apparently, it was found in 1896 in St. Augustine, Florida. People who saw it in person claim it was 18 feet (5.5 meters) long and weighed five tons! Although it was found more than a century ago, St. Augustine Monster still remains one of the most bizarre creatures ever found...

Canvey Island Creature – This weird-looking animal washed up on the shores of Canvey Island, United Kingdom. It had crazy, bulging eyes, reddish skin, as well as five-toed, horseshoe shaped feet, which suggested that this creature could walk on two legs, however, it definitely wasn’t a human. Here comes the weird part – another identical carcass washed up a year later on the shore nearby...

Chilean Monster – This abomination washed up on the shores of Los Muermos, Chile. It measured 39 feet (almost 12 meters) across and weighed 14 tons! A lot of biologists believe that these remains belonged to a ridiculously large octopus, however, they did tests on its DNA in 2004 and discovered that it matches the DNA of a sperm whale...

Conjoined Whales – You’ve probably seen multiple photos of conjoined twins on the Internet. What you may not know is that this type of thing happens in the animal world as well, but it’s quite rare, especially when it comes to whales. Not a lot of people can brag about seeing conjoined whales in person, but this isn’t the case with these fishermen who found the creature pictured above in the Ojo de Liebre lagoon in Baja California, Mexico...

Moscow Monster – If you thought some of the previous animals on the list were scary, check out this one. This carcass was found by Russian soldiers stationed near the shore of far-eastern island territory of Sakhalin, back in 2006. It wasn’t long before Russian Special Service personnel removed the remains from the beach for studies. Unsurprisingly, they never released any further information about it...

Huge Animal With Bird-Like Beak– Is it a fish? Is it a bird? The carcass of this odd-looking creature resembles both of these animals, but it definitely looks like nothing you’ve seen before. It washed up on the shores of the Russian far east. It was the size of your average dolphin, but it had a beak like a bird. Extremely bizarre!...

Klipsuiers – These incredibly unique creature washed up somewhere on the shores of Africa, and just a couple of people were there to witness it. It’s far smaller than most other creatures on this list, but it’s definitely among the ugliest animals we’ve ever seen. Wouldn’t you agree?...

    Here, there and everywhere!
Roch Ness Monster – A lot of people have heard stories about the Loch Ness Monster, but how many of you are familiar with the Roch Ness Monster? The carcass of this 5 feet (1.5 meters) long creature with scary-looking jaw and extremely sharp teeth washed up on the shore of Hollingsworth Lake in Rochdale, Manchester, which earned it the Roch Ness Monster nickname...
Four Mile Globster – This disgusting creature washed up on Four Mile Beach in Tanzania, back in 1997. It was more than 15 feet (4.6 meters) long and weighed somewhere around 4 tons. People who’ve seen the thing in person described it as having “six fleshy lobes along its sides,” which resembled a cow’s udders. Gross!...

New Zealand Monster – After a huge storm, the residents near the Pukehina beach in New Zealand discovered this scary looking sea creature. People first thought the remains of this humongous animal belonged to a prehistoric sea creature, but after experts examined the carcass, they said it actually belonged to an Orca whale...

Dinosaur-Like Sea Creature – Here’s another creature that looks like it time-traveled from the age of dinosaurs, and there’s a good reason for it. Apparently, a local vet identified this rare and scaly carcass to be a wayward Atlantic Surgeon. This species of fish originated nearly 100 million years ago and hasn’t changed that much since. This monster of a fish can grow up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) in length and can weight up to 800 pounds (363 kg)...

Devil Fish – Allegedly, the carcass of this fish was found washed up on the beaches of southern Florida. As you can see from the image above it features extremely long and sharp teeth. Some people believe that this fish is actually real, while other believe it’s just a hoax create by someone. We really hope it’s fake, because this sea creature looks extremely scary!...

Beast From The East – This mysterious creature was found by 27-year-old Peter Bailey from Tenby who noticed it while walking his dog along the beach. “I was taking my dog for her evening walk across the south beach when she started acting out of character by howling and running round in circles. I ran up to her to see if she was ok and then I came across this hideous looking carcass. I could see it had little hair left on it’s decomposing body. Immediately I thought it was a horse but it had claws like a bear and a body of a pig. Surprisingly it didn’t smell,” Peter said in an interview with the Western Telegraph. Nobody is really sure what this creature is…

Mysterious Blob – This 13-feet-long (4 meters) blob was found washed up on a beach in Acapulco, Mexico, in March 2016, and it left a lot of scientists puzzled, because they couldn’t identify what this mysterious creature is. “We have no idea what type of animal this is, but I do know that it does not smell bad or have a fetid aroma,” said Rosa Camacho, coordinator of the Civil and Fire Brigade in Acapulco in a short interview with 24 Horas...

Goatsucker – This mysterious creature was found on the beach in San Diego, California, and once again couldn’t be identified by anyone. Some people nicknamed it “goatsucker” while others gave it creepy names such as “devil dog.” It had giant fangs and a strange mohawk on its head. Could it be that the residents of San Diego encountered the legendary Chupacabra?...

Zuiyo-Maru Monster – This weird carcass was found off the coast of New Zealand, back in 1977. Due to its peculiar appearance, a lot of people thought it belonged to a prehistoric plesiosaur or some sea serpent. Multiple scientists insisted that it was not a fish, whale or any other familiar mammal, but it was later discovered that the carcass most likely belong to a basking shark. The decomposing corpse reportedly weighed almost 2 tons, and the creature was about 32 feet (10 meters) long...

Unknown Sea Monster With Big Teeth – Apparently, this deep sea dweller was found along the shores of the Philippines, shortly after the Typhoon Haiyan has devastated the country. Up until now, nobody has managed to identify this creature, and certain people even doubt the authenticity of this photo...

Opah – This weird-looking fish lives in deep parts of the ocean, and is rarely ever seen by biologists, let alone regular people. Scott Williams, the guy who found this massive fish in October 2010, just off the coast of San Diego said it “looked like it was from another planet.” It weighed about 100 pounds and Scott could have sold it for $12 per pound because it’s so extremely rare...

New Zealand Globster – Back in 1968, this weird blob was found washed up on the shores of New Zealand’s North Island. It wasn’t long before experts came to study the creature, but they failed to identify it. Apparently, none of the familiar animals have the same features that this bizarre creature had...

Great post! I love this stuff! I'm sure a lot of these creatures are animals we do know they just decomposed weird due to water and Sun. I mean look at humans after they decompose in water. They burn in the sun and bloat.

But some just have no explanation! Crazy to think how many animals are on this planet we havnt discovered in the sea alone!
